Welcome to the 2nd European Logistics Summit

The Alliance for European Logistics (AEL) organised and hosted the 2nd European Logistics Summit at the Stanhope Hotel in Brussels on 4 November 2009, 13h45 - 17h15.

In light of the European Commission's Communication on the Future of European Transport Policy, this year's Summit brought together influential business and political figures to discuss the future policy framework for the logistics industry in Europe.

At the summit, the AEL presented the Commission with 10 recommendations for the Future of European Transport Policy.

The 2009 summit will follow on from the highly successful 1st European Logistics Summit in November 2008. At the event, key industry representatives signed and endorsed a summit declaration. The declaration is available here.
